VILLA KURTULDU (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the VILLA KURTULDU mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.


1. Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you.

  • Personal Data: While using our app, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (e.g., Email address, First name and last name, Country/Location preferences).

  • Usage Data: We may collect information on how the app is accessed and used (e.g., device type, operating system version, app feature usage statistics).

 

2. Device Permissions and Media Access

To provide a premium and interactive hotel experience, our application requires explicit access to certain native device features. You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings:

Photo Library / Gallery Access: Our application requests access to your device’s photo library solely to allow you to select and upload accommodation photos to our community “Memory Wall”. Uploaded images are securely stored in our cloud buckets and are never used for external tracking or commercial advertisement.

Push Notification Permissions: We request permission to send you an instant notification token. This is used strictly to deliver real-time updates regarding your emergency house requests, room services, and important on-property hotel alerts.


3. Use of Firebase Services

Our app leverages Google Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure to handle sensitive workflows securely:

  • Authentication: To manage guest logins, accounts, and session lifecycles securely.

  • Cloud Firestore: To store user profiles, requested services, country selections, and community comments.

  • Firebase Storage: To securely store and render profile pictures and guest memory media assets.

  • Cloud Messaging & Expo SDK: To process non-identifiable device push tokens solely for sending automated house alerts.


4. Data Security

The security of your data is paramount to us. Your data is stored on secure, enterprise-grade Google Cloud infrastructure. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we employ industry-standard safeguards to protect it.


5. Your Rights

You retain absolute control over your personal data. You have the right to request the total deletion of your account, profile data, and uploaded images at any time directly through the app’s internal profile settings screen, or by contacting our management team directly at kurtulduvilla@gmail.com.
